Dr. Mark Allen, OD
Dr. Mark Allen received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1991 from Texas A&M University and graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1997, where he was awarded his Doctor of Optometry degree with honors. He is certified as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist in Texas and an Optometric Physician in Arkansas.
Dr. Allen has been practicing optometry in the Ark-La-Tex since 1997. His commitment to patient care, and the health of every patient that walks through the door, is felt by both his patients and staff.
Dr. Allen’s practice philosophy is that a caring and compassionate doctor and staff can make a difference in the lives of their patients through an attentive, practical, problem oriented approach while addressing patient concerns and needs – all in a genuinely friendly manner. Dr. Allen believes that connecting with the patient is key.
Dr. Allen is very experienced in treating and managing ocular disease such as glaucoma, dry eyes, eye infections and injuries. He also provides wellness and diabetic eye exams, fits glasses and specialty contact lens, and examines for myopia control management.
He is a Diplomate in the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and Northeast Texas Optometric Society.
Dr. James Moser, OD
Dr. James (Jim) Moser, OD received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe He graduated from University of Houston / College of Optometry Medical School in 1985. Dr. James Moser has 35 years of practicing optometry in the Ark-La-Tex.
He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, East Texas Optometric Society and the Louisiana Optometric Association.
Dr. Moser enjoys the profession of optometry, but especially the interaction with his patients and the relationships that he has established with them over the years.
In his spare time Dr. Moser loves spending time with his wife Rose and their five children and their one grandchild. When Dr. Moser is not with his family he enjoys playing golf and motorcycle riding. He is also a member of the Oaklawn Rotary Club.
